News Flash!  Today I had my very first experience working as a cello-playing body double for an actress on a TV show.  I got to play on the set for about ten minutes, then coach the actress on how to hold/play the cello, and sit around in my dressing room while nice people brought me coffee and yummy things to eat.  The craziest thing was the wig they put on me in Hair&Makeup -- it was SUPER-long, chestnut-brown, and full of cascading curls and waves.  After they affixed it to my head, I looked EXACTLY like the actress!  It was very impressive to see how well they could transform me into her "twin".  I had a great time on the set, even though I felt like a complete neophyte in that atmosphere.  I don't know the lingo yet!  There's a first time for everything, right?
